I'm sure I've asked this question before but can't find an answer:
Why does this forum allow old threads to be resurrected by the addition of a new post long after the thread has died? The X-Type board currently has had several old posts (3, 4 and even 5 years old) brought back with a new addition that adds nothing - some of these threads are quite large and clutter up the whole presentation. It is often new members who do this, possibly without realising the consequences.
Is it not possible to lock a thread to prevent new posts when it has been inactive for (say) 3 months?
