Hi all (and specifically Jim @ TireRack) I'm in an unfortunate situation where I have 3 bent 17" rims on my 335xi (some sort of terrible road dislocation in Boston). I have just one year left on my lease and I do not intend on keeping the car. In fact, I was planning on picking up a nice, used 2003 E39 M5 once this lease was up. I hate to buy new rims (at any price) that I will use for only one year and have to sell for a huge loss. And, before you ask, my insurance deductible is $1,000 - so not worth reporting the rims as an insurance loss. So my question is this: Are there ANY rims out there that will fit both an E92 xi coupe, as well as a E39 M5 sedan?? Even if the offsets don't match, can I get offset plates (I did that for my Porsche 996 Turbo when I switched from summer to winter rims)? Thank you in advance! | ||||
