Chris, I'm pretty much in your camp on this car but some of the pictures of the 2012 928 (maybe somebody's wet dream?) that I've seen are pretty interesting. Also, I have to admit that the first 929 (1978) looked pretty strange to me and it took a few years for it to grow on me which seems to be the way some of the Porsche's go. I was actually a little disapointed with the S4 styling (as versus the S3) as I had placed the order sight unseen (I just really wanted a 928 regardless of which letters came after the number). When I was escorted out to the garage where they house the cars to be picked up and saw that beautiful dark blue machine, I rapidly changed my mind.
How many escape pods? None sir! We're still working on the concept!
