Ugly - and from EVERY angle! (783 views) (1723 thread views)
Message: It was my most fervent hope that the "thingamera" would be pretty from at least ONE freaking angle, but the "Panamugly" is frankly hideous from every angle, bar NONE!

Even from overhead it looks like a squashed loaf of bread!

I simply can't believe Porsche thinks they can sell 20,000 of these annually. I predict they will be lucky to hit half that.

What is the real and genuine shame is that Lamborghini are able to come up with the Estoque is LESS THAN A YEAR. And yet Porsche, with the biggest automotive bank account in the world, and possibly the longest development period of any car (EVER!) manages to produce a think so forgetable, so rampantly and dog-crappingly ugly, and without a 2-door coupe to soften the blow at luanch date!

That "dog-crappingly" is 100% accurate too: it reminds me of the awful Chrysler Crossfire (What the 'Merkins managed to do to a perfectly good SLK350 is frankly mind-numbing!) with its special "I can't see you" rear window - looks exactly like a dog hunched over traking a dump!

Oh Mr. P, why couldn't you force the designers to get rid of the awful roof line at the rear??? Why on earth did you have to make the rear hatch a thing of complete crapitude? Why use rear lights that look like they've been stolen from any number of Crapanese sh!tboxes?

What the hell is with that "I-Can't-Fit-The-Motor-In" hood bulge???? You managed it with the freaking 928. Why go limp-wristed with the Panafugly?

Why are the door handles stolen from a $12,000 Honda?

What is it with the "I-Can't-Draw-A-Shape-without-a-stupid-hump" front headlight covers??

Do you really think that the female-hip-curve-line which works so well on the Cayman absolutely HAD to be transplanted onto something that not only doesn't have hips, but doesn't even have a waist because it's so fat???

Oh, and the side profile??? What's it meant to be? A pregnant Hyundai wagon?

Oh dear me. This is indeed a truly tragic outcome to the years of waiting we all suffered.

Let's hope they don't fu$k the 2-door. But based on what we've seen here, it'd be a freaking miracle if the coupe even nods its head at the greatest GT car of all time. *sigh*

How many escape pods are there? "NONE, SIR!" You counted them? "TWICE, SIR!"
