I'm brand new to the Porsche community, having owned a bmw 325xi. I just purchased a 2006 cayman s with 6k miles (tiptronic) from Carmax. The factory warranty expires June 2010.

I'd like to know if I should buy the extended warranty from Porsche dealer or from reputable 3rd party (such as Warranty Direct) I have read so many horrifying stories on 3rd party places, as they hardly covers anything despite the plan you buy. If I go with the dealer, what is a good price? I got a quote for $4461 7yr/75k. Any advice would be greately appreciated!!
