Re: FOOT BRAKE WARNING CHIME CONTINUES WHEN RELEAS (46 views) 
Message: I just had the parking brake repaired for the second time. This time I was told it was the brake shock which of course is not covered under my platinum extended warranty(I think I blinked and opted for that rather lose sleep over a steep bill). I had the same problem two years ago and they said they fixed it but when I picked up the car it was still beeping after repeatedly pulling on the handle. They bought out the computer and ran the diagnostic on the car but could not seem to see any problems. They did fix it eventually after call Stuggart who told them to re-program the car. That seemed to work until this past month when it began again. The repair was ok at $118 but wonder why it was not changed two years when it was under full warranty.
