Message: I have a 2004 turbo, and made very good use of my extended warranty recently. At about 50K miles with one $100 deductible I had the following done:
1) Water pump replaced.
2) Ignition coils replaced
3) Horn replace (sounded like a golf cart)
4) Struts in rear hatch replaced (hatch would fall down and hit you on the head).
5) Struts in parking brake (parking brake would not retract properly).

Purchased my warranty long ago for about 3K. It covers just about anything and the dealer does all the paperwork. It was for 7years/70Kmi. If you purchase a warranty, recommend buying from dealer as some internet offerings are scams.
