I have a 2006 Cayenne S that have NavTeq w/ DVD rom; I want to update the navigation map DVD to the more updated one. I looked around and found they someone have a 5/2007 DVD for a good price. But, it said for use with PCM 2.1. I pulled out my original DVD cover and it just say PCM (dated 4/2005) and doesn't have the "2.1". The current software on my PCM is version 3.0. So, the question is, how do I know if my PCM is compatible with the DVD that I'm wanting to buy. Do I need to update the PCM before I can use the new DVD? I have read somewhere on this forum that if you have the NavTeq w/ DVD rom, then it's PCM 2.1. I'm just not sure.
