Re: Potential problems with 05 or 06 Cayennes? (445 views)
Message: I have a 06 Cayenne S, and will say I love it. Def. a great vehicle. Was it worth the money at 70k when it was purchased? No. Everything seems to be ala-carte with the cayenne, when it comes to the options that you really need (IE Bluetooth, or CD-Changer and so on). But I guess you can say, if you got the cash for it, might as well get it, will need it sometime down the road..........As for driving the vehicle. It is a true dream to drive. Although lately I have had a issue with the transmission shifting from 2nd to 3rd. Seems to hesitate a bit. I took the vehicle in, they said nothing looked to be wrong with the tran, so they cleared the computer, but they have had a post from porsche that the 06 models are having this issue with the trans. And yes, it is still hesitating, so once again will have to take it in, just hopefully will not have to have major servicing on the trans. Ive brought my vehicle from the US to the UK, and servicing a porsche over here is expensive as hell!
