| Message: | Hi all, I am new to this forum, and I have recently purchased a used 2004 Porsche Cayenne S. For what it's worth, I was surprised on how some of the "normal wear" items seem to be wering very quickly. My wipers seem to be deteriorating, items that should function (covers, etc) seem to fall apart... But my real pet peeve is the PCM (radio) control buttons on the steering wheel. Porsche seemed to spray much of the plastic smooth surfaces with a plastic coating to provide a more tactile touch... but it mars and tears easily. Since I am not the original owner, and my mileage is 53283, I am outside any warranty coverage. Have any of you had success in having Porsche replace this item out of warranty? Thanks, Vincent | ||||
