Message: I was having the same problem constantly to the point that I thought of trading the car in. I kept pulling and setting the brake to no avail...... THEN one day I just kicked the lever up and it stopped. A light bulb went off. The next day I then hit the lever again and have been doing so for over 6 months. Should I pay 300 dollers perhaps.. its not that much money after all. Maybe at my next major service I will ask the dealer to fix it but for now, I pull the lever and just tap the foot brake up. Works like a charm.
