| Message: | | I read some opinions abot starts out in D2 and shifts into higher gear too early. I just talk to the service advisor at my dealership. He told me that starts out D2 means I am not a "fast driver". I have 05 V6 which is finished in production in Nov 8th, 2004 and he told me everything is updated my car. But I am not a fast driver so the transmission learned my driving style and it respond like too early shift changing. He suggest me that drive fast, put the gas pedal hard when I start to run (more aggresive). It will take 2~3 days to learn different driving style. That's what he said. Also, he told me it will change to starts out from D1, not D2. He didn't mention anything about turning off the PSM. It sounds like BS but I heard about the same story at different BMW dealer about couple of years ago when I had 325 coupe. I'm not sure about this time. But I will try. Anyone have any idea about this?
