Message: You need the DME Remap (E-Gas) and the Tiptronic Kickdown update. Both of these will only be done if you give the correct description of the faults.

What I do is write it all down in an email so the service manager can forward to his regional rep.

Because this is warranty work I think they are controlling costs by a: not having TSB's and b: only fitting if they see the correct description.

Search around this board and rennlist / rennteam for good quality descriptions, much has been written. Be nice and calm, claim "dangerous" and tell them to ask their regional rep.
