| Message: | | I just rebuilt a 99 2.5 boxster engine for a customer. it had 200k on it , low compression but still ran and smoked badly. After tear down we found the intermediate shaft bearing that was just about to launch. We had the upgraded ims bearing installed and all new porsche parts along with a new oil pump, belt, hoses , oil seperator, water pump, bearings, gaskets, rings etc , cost the customer about $9500. complete. is this reasonable?
