Message: I have a 98 boxster, I went to start it up in the morning and all I got was very low dashboard lights. The air bag light was bright and the oil pump and time were flashing back and forth between the two. I replaced the battery it didnt help. Does this sound like an ignition switch failure? I have checked all the fuses. I have had the problem when I turned the key that everything came on but would wait until what I thought was the alarm system to read the key.
