Go buy a device (or use a mechanics) LED tool. Unplug fuel injection connection and hook up this clear LED to it. Have someone crank motor, if it doesn't light up you have no fuel injection pulsation which probably means your ECU is bad. Found a guy who rebiulds it with a 5 year warranty at ECUdoctors dot com for $350.00. This worked for my 85. I went thru (cheapest to most expensive) DME fuel pump relay-crank and speed sensor, they needed to be replaced anyway but the over problem was the ECU. I got my back and it fired right up.
