I have a 1988 944 turbo and just recently it is extremely hard to get the car into first gear. It is somewhat difficult to get it into any gear but first is almost impossible. Not sure if this is related but about 2 weeks ago, my brake fluid light came on. I refilled it and light went out. It was about that time I began having problems with the gears. Clutch pedal seems to fell about the same. Also, it is hard to get into gear whether the car is running or not. Thanks for any replies.
