| Message: | hey guys, I'm from Australia and we never got the 968 CAB but I'm thinking it is similar to my 1990 944 CAB which has developed the same problem. being R/H drive the fuel sender unit is behind the driver and there is a black plastic tank that is behind the carpet in the boot next to the filler. My problem is that I've located some seepage that is underneath the vehicle and right next to the exhaust / muffler (silencer) on the lower extremities of the sheetmetal inside the rear L/H wheel. There is also no smell near the fuel sender unit but is very strong around the battery compartment. I cant see under the battery cover but have stuffed clean cloth in there and it doesn't come out smelling of fuel and everything seems dry so it has me stuffed. All the carpet is up and I can't see any other access to the tank/overflow pipes. Any thoughts? | ||||
