| Message: | Warm-up Regulator? (Most likely I think). Fuel Relay? (Seems unlikely, it either works or doesn't, and shouldn't affect engine revs at all.) Idle when in gear should be 750 rpm or so. Perhaps 850-900 in Park. Engine should return rapidly to idle, with no "bounce" or "halting" in the revs as they drop. Does it clear up when the engine is finally warm? That's a tip it's the warmup regulator. They can be rebuilt but replacing it is a better idea if it turns out to be faulty. Search for "Nichols 928 Tips" on google and have a look at the "Engine" section. ------------------------------- How many escape pods are there? "NONE, SIR!" You counted them? "TWICE, SIR!" | ||||
