| Message: | A shaking motor isn't running rich - it's running on 7, 6, 5 or maybe even 4 cylinders. If you can feel the gas pedal shake too, then it is definitely running on fewer cylinders than 8. All the normal stuff applies: fuel, air or spark. Likely is one or more clogged or fouled injectors, damaged Mass Air Flow sensor (It has a "limp home" mode when it fails) or badly fouled spark plugs. Check the plugs first, the wet plugs are the ones from the non-firing cylinder(s). Check the high tension leads to see if the plugs are sparking. I'm sure others here can advise if it's none of these things. Do be aware that damage will occur to the motor if running it on less than 8 cylinders for more than a short period of time. The gas washes down the cylinder walls and can damage the piston rings and/or bore. Good luck! ------------------------------ How many escape pods are there? "NONE, SIR!" You counted them?
