| Message: | Man, that's terrible, Barney.....Really sorry to hear about that. I certainly feel for you. I got a good one for you, and the guys to read about: Back in 1988, I had purchased a brand new Supercharged Toyota MR2. One cold Winter night, while pulling into the driveway for our band-rehearsal, I hit a big patch of black-ice and drove the car right off a 40ft cliff! I was only going 6 MPH!!!! IN A DRIVEWAY!!!! Unbeknownst to me, my bandmate hit the same patch of ice, and went down the 40 foot cliff just 4 minutes before I did.... Guess what? My car landed RIGHT ON TOP OF HIS CAR, destroying his car, and crushed my car right up to my feet. Luckily the MR2 is a Mid-Engine car. Unfortunately, my car was "totaled", but because I bought the car with a small bank loan, I had no "Collision" on the car (was not required), and I had to pay for the damages out of my own pocket, because I was still making payments on the car. I remember the minute I pulled into the driveway seeing his car at the very bottom of this embankment, saying to my friend in my passenger seat..."What the hell is Jim's car doing down there?".....2 seconds later I'm down there, too. LOL Keep us posted on what's going on.... Chris | ||||
