I repaired the driver bolster on my '86.5 however it is black. I used a leather repair kit from autozone(?). Glued a patch behind the tear used a filler to get close to original height then mixed the patch material and used heated iron to set the material. If someone looks real close they can see it is patched, but most do not notice unless told.
