| Message: | also have a look at the big electrical connector under the dash. i installed a new stereo and inadvertantly pulled this connector apart. not enough that you could ever tell by looking, but enough so that the prongs were only just touching. i had intermittant electrical problems which eventually culminated in a car that wouldn't start, till i discovered this and pushed it in all the way. (i say i discovered it, that would be doing the RAC man an injustice!!)good luck i have also discovered that all the electrical connectors at the back of the oil pressure gauge get dirty and stop working. This problem caused my battery to run down on a trip once with no warning light coming on. i know that this is probably nothing to do with your problem. but it's very easy to take this dial out and clean all the contacts back there, and that should eliminate and prevent this problem happening to you. | ||||
