Re: Victory Motorcars: Warning! (4837 views)
Message: Unfortunately I have just become aware that these negative postings have been placed on this site. Otherwise I would have responded long ago. First I will use the real names of the people that posted as I have used my real name. I do not hide behind aliases and I do not use email addresses that no longer work as they have done. If ever anyone wants to speak to me about these posts please contact me by email victorymotorcats@yahoo.com , by phone 713.592.5707 or in person at Victory Motorcars 6108 S. Rice Ave Houston, TX.

I work very hard to run a professional, ethical business and yes I do worry about any negative comments. I have been in the Porsche business for 29 years and to have my company and myself referred to as “Clowns” is to say the least upsetting. Also let me assure you Victory Motorcars will not be changing names or going out of business. To suggest that we are in collusion with any PPI inspectors is ludicrous borders on LIBEL.

Let me also state before I address specific comments that on all our paperwork and on our auctions we have the statement “The vehicles herein are pre-owned and they are sold as "As Is" condition” Please have all cars inspected.

Rob Stevenson came to my shop two Saturdays in a row from Shreveport LA drove the car and claimed he had it inspected; I did not see the inspection report. He then drove a 20 year old car 250 miles to Shreveport LA and with no call to me about any problems Stopped Payment on his check called me and informed me that I could come pick it up in Louisiana. I did pursue fraud charges on Mr. Stevenson for taking a car out of state and canceling the check. By the way the present owner of the car has had nothing but good things to say about it.

Chuck Macciolo (Anthony) came to my shop from Florida, drove the car for over 3 hours and took it to a mechanic of his choice for the PPI. He asked me to fix a few minor items that were found and I did.

We do not represent our cars as “Perfect” we do say “Near Perfect” and they are just that.
For anyone to buy a high performance car that is 20+ years old and expect to not spend some money keeping it in good condition has very unrealistic expectations.

I could go on and on addressing the comments from the gentlemen that posted them but I think anyone reading this has heard my side of the story and I will be happy to go into more detail if you would like to contact me.
