I purchased this 1987 Porsche 911 Turbo a few years ago. I absolutely love this car, but have a few questions. This car has the vents on the rear fenders like the slantnose, but doesn't have the slantnose front end. I checked carfax to see if this was in an accident and had the front end replaced with the regular front end. Carfax says no. Was this something that came from the factory this way? Was it a limited production based on retooling for the new body style that came along for the turbos in 1988 1/2? This has the transmission in it that was just before the G50 was made available for the turbo. How do I find out what the VIN tells me about this car?
