Re: speedo stays at 0 until I reach 20MPH on '86 T (113 views) 
Message: A newbie only had my '88 Targa for 2 months. Brought the car knowing the speedo worked sometimes. Car is in the shop for the fix, speed sensor was replaced and they test drove it and it's doing the "0 until I reach 20mph". Speedo went to Palo Alto Speedo for a rebuilt but the "0 until I reach 20" did not go away. The shop has place an order from Germany for a magnetic pickup sensor that is in the tranny. Should be here in a week. Will keep you guys inform.
