Re: Motormiester, Is it for real? (782 views)
Message: BE CAREFULLLL! They told me that they would convert my 2.7 to a 3.0 big bore for only $3500.00 I asked them severl times if they were sure thats all it would cost! They said shipping would be free! So I sent them my motor and they sent me an estamate for $13,500.00! I freeked! Called them up and asked what was up, and what happend to the origanal estamate? they said that was only for parts and they would have to rebuild the origenal Engine first. Witch they had just built 10,000 Mi. ago! I asked them why? Why do we have to rebuild the heads, valves, and cylenders if were going to replace them with 3.0 stuff? they just side steped the question and submited me an other estamet fo $11,500.00 I said NO! Send me back my motor! They said O.K send us $1,450.00 I freeked again! You said shipping would be free! They replied, thats only if you buy somthing! I replied that they didnt say enything about that little detail when this started. They said TOO BAD! Send the money or no motor return. BASTERDS! I sent the money and they returned my moter in little peaces completly dissasembled! FRIKIN BASTERDS! So my friend, BE CAREFULLLL! I must say that they origanal 2.7 motor they built ran great . Why it needed a complete rebuild after 10 K Mi.in there oppinion still baffels me and makes me scepticle of the longjevity of there work by there own report! Good luck my friend. and remember get it in righting!
