speedo stays at 0 until I reach 20MPH on '86 Targa (364 views) (1265 thread views) 
Message: I just pulled my '86 targa out of its winter slumber. All is fine, except now the speedo stays at 0 until I hit about 20 MPH. When I do reach 20 MPH, it jumps up to the current speed. If I tap on the gauge as I start out, the speedo will work right away. It's almost like the needle is sticky or something.

Any ideas?
