Message: Go with the M3. It is faster than the 911, and more fun to drive. However, thats just my opinion. Go test drive both cars for yourself and go with your own gut feeling. I have test drove an 00' 911 and an 00' M3 and the M3 is much better. However this is a Porsche forum so you are likely to get answers favoring Porsche.
