| Message: | | I currently own both cars a 2000 996 coupe with 6000 miles and 2003 M3 Coupe SMG with 4000 miles. IMHO, the 911 is worth the hefty price tag, eventhough it's 33 HP less than my M3. The M3 is extremely refined and drives extremely comfortable eventhough I have the 19" M3 rims with Michelin pilot sports. The conti sport contacts on my 996 are cr*p. They transmit too much road vibration into the chassis and don't grip as well as the Michelins. The M3 is more convenient and has 2 real rear seats, but the 996 is more fun to drive.
