hi all,
Is anybody able to tell me the engine code or type from the engine number? I have just bought a 1968 911L with an engine number *6405339*. The vin of the car is 11805379. I don't know if this is the original engine or if it has been replaced. The only place I could fine the engine number was on the horozontal surface of the block towards the rear seats and was not on the vertical fan housing. any ideas?
