| Message: | Example: I get my evaluation in a few weeks. But, my supervisor never assigned me any performance goals for the year. So, I'm expecting a big ole' raise since I exceeded every goal that was set for me. I've been on a pay-for-performance plan for 11 years. I've only had required performance goals estiblished for two or three of those years. The rest of the time, they forgot. One of my corrupt idiot bosses wrote my evaluation in pencil, so he could change after I signed it. I took in and wouldn't give it back to him until I scanned it in gray-scale, since the photo-copier wouldn't pick up pencil writing. This is the idiot who tried to get my security clearance revoked because I reported his high-school drop-out buddy's ongoing sabotage efforts. The year I shut down a bogus $5M R&D project, I get squat for a raise. My supervisor who evaluated me never even read my 75 page report before giving me my evaluation. The year I was in time out for reporting payroll fraud I got a raise. I wore Hawaiian shirts, cargo shorts, and sandals to work every day just to let everybody in the building know I was on vacation. My currupt boss at the time had to give me a raise becuase the Office of Special Counsel gave him phone call warning him he was real close to getting prosecuted. At my eval, he bitched about my attire, but had to give me a rasie and a bonus. I bragged that my accomplishments that year was: a. Reading the WSJ front to back every day. b. Drawing a set of houseplans for Chateau de Goat. c. Getting his skanky [Oops!] in trouble with the OSC. d. Finishing the Internet. e. Working on my tan, tanking walks on the beach on the clock. Skanky boss was later re-org'ed from supervising 100 people to being a cul-de-sac on the organization chart. He spent a few months in his big office reading Corvette magazines at $120k/year and then retired. There are 15 people in the building I currently work in. The highest paid person in the building does absolutely nothing. He's the bosses buddy. The supervisor of 13 of the 15 people in my building is finally retiring in December. His do-nothing buddy is retiring too, because he will get demoted or fired if he's around in January when a new boss shows up. I passed this supervisor's office today and he was asleep at his desk. You don't want the corrupt idiots who run the federal gooberment managing your health care. The push to dump NSPS was headed up by unions, by the way. | ||||
