What's different about his PRESENT stances?

No history lessons about who he was last year, or what a great war hero he was - no one is debating that.

Based on his official stances on the issues RIGHT NOW - how is he different than the neo... pardon me: "deficit-loving, war-mongering, bible-pounding, corporate-pandering, gun-loving, foster-democracy-abroad-while-trashing-the-domestic-budget folks"
