really sux that you had to go through this... (99 views) 
Message: it seems that no matter where you live you can be a victim. I live in a very nice neighborhood here in Chesapeake, VA...but we have similar crap too. Twice in 2 years I have had windows shot out of 2 different cars. Both times they were parked on the street (the main drag of the neighborhood) and in each instance someone apparently drove by and with a BB gun shot out several car windows. I'd love to catch the lil bastids. I don't park on the street anymore. Have you considered security lighting (assuming you don't already have it)?

And...WTH, you probably needed to paint anyway, eh? : )
