Re: Power Steering Pump - BMW/Mini Hear us ! (172 views) 
Message: I have a 2004 "S". The pump went out at 34,000. Mini did replace under warranty but did say they are really expensive when it goes out. The concern is obvious, if this is a faulty design, which it does appear to be, then Mini Corporation should do a recall and put in an improved unit. I must admit I am up to 74,000 and have no additional problems. But..................
