Message: Hey again Scotty,

So I finished the install of the fogs. Only problem: wiring harness too short. I got it all hooked up to everything properly as far as I can tell (won't know until the programming is done), but came up short to the base control module. Went down to the electronics store and got some stranded wire that will carry at least 15 amps, then clipped the connectors off harness, spliced the new wire in, and spliced the two spare wires w/ connectors attached (that came with harness) onto end of extension wire and hooked it up to BCM. I'm hoping this will work w/o any problems. My first time soldering electronic wire (guy at store gave a quick lesson). Any opinions on this procedure before I get it programmed? Still need to install alarm before going up to dealer to save some $$. Thanks again.
