| Message: | I had the Goodyears on my first MC (DaMINI). I had no issue with the performance (in terms of the tire's design and fit). I had issues with the weight of the tire for the kind of driving I was doing. The outside of the tire's tread wore down first and the tires got loud near the end of their life (20k miles or so) while the tread was still good in the center. I might have drove my car just a little harder than your wife. I switched to all seasion runflats and the car felt much better in terms of ride. The all seasion tires were much quiter. Later, I ran another performance tire on the car and had simular noise issues as that tire got near the end of its life. I dissagree with the dealership's SA. The tires fit the car. If they did not fit the noise would happen even when the tires were new. My 2 cents. John | ||||
