| Message: | If you purchase one of the spares that comes with a Cooper it can be tucked in the boot of your S. If you need the storage space and aren't carrying four passengers, I've also found that the spare fits very nicely behind the front seats. Actually, it gets held pretty securely there. Fix a Flat is OK IF you happen to get a flat that it can fix. I've had several flats over the years that would have been beyond that goop's ability to fix. The lower profile your tires the more likely it seems to be that you can get a sidewall blowout caused by potholes, etc and I'm pretty sure Fix a Flat wouldn't handle one of those. I'd prefer never to find out, so I always carry a spare on longer trips. : ) And keep in mind that there are still areas in this country that don't have cell phone coverage. Another reason not to rely 100% on the ability to call Roadside Assistance in the event of a flat. Robyn | ||||
