Well I agree that there is obviously something awry with this car but I don't really think taking it to an independent while it's still under warranty is an option. I don't want to jeopardize the rights I already have under the Mini warranty and I'm pretty sure that they would never agree to letting me take that route. I have made another appointment with my dealership since as of today my shiny new brakes are already squeaking and I can feel something rubbing. I have also contacted my Mini rep again and they are arranging to have a field engineer present when my car goes in next week. Wish me luck and thanks for all your advice!
