Re: MINI SERVICE LAZY? (852 views)
Message: I'm new to this board and am doing some research to try to figure out what in blazes is going on with my car and the dealership I take it to for service. I am leasing a 2002 Mini that was 10 months old when I got it last July. The first thing I needed to do was have the rear brakes replaced. The car had 16,000 miles so I thought that was a bit odd. Last week, after having put less than 10,000 miles on the car they needed to be replaced again. Now, I drive the car around town, to work, short little day trips. I'm not a speed demon, I'm not a brake-slammer or a brake-rider. In addition to this mystery is the fact that every time work needs to be done, this time included, I have to make 2 trips to the dealership which is an hour away from where I live because the NEVER make the repairs the first time. I have had a little chat with the service manager and all he has to say is "I'm sorry." Any suggestions??
