| Message: | 1) I got the rear speakers (Kappa 63.5i) from an ebay seller named electronicgiant. Here's a current auction by him for the same speakers. $99 + $15 s/h As for the fronts, I just rechecked and they are Infinity 6000cs components, NOT Kappas. I had planned on also getting Kappas for the front and I've mistakenly thought those were Kappas all this time. Sorry for the misinformation. They do sound great though, and you can find them for around $100 on ebay easily. 3) Sounds like you're describing a tactile tranducer. That's basically a speaker without a cone that produces vibrations. I have a couple attached to my couch in my home theater system to make it shake during explosions and earthquakes. They're marketed under names like "butt kicker" and "bass shaker". I have heard of a pillow that does the same thing. They're fun when watching a movie, but I don't think I'd want one in my car. | ||||
