Message: Hi - first post...

I need opinions. I have a '62 Cooper (real one) but with 1275 motor and S brakes etc.
Car is rust free but needs to be stripped to bare metal/resprayed, needs interior and tons of detail work(engine bay etc). Motor is good but needs valve adjust, trans needs selector fork or sync on 3rd(?).
I really can not afford to keep the car.
Here is my dilemma, is it worth painting/restoring or should I just sell it as is?
Is the car worthless as is?
How is the parts situation out there now? Would I be able to get parts to restore (interior bits, dash pad etc)?

I am all ears.
