Message:

I have a 2002 SLK32 AMG. The driver side doorlock that is pneumatically operated no longer works. I can hear a hissing sound inside the door when it is trying to lock. This indicates an air leak either in a hose or in the actuator.

The door has an airbag. How do I get the door panel off so I can fix whatever leaks inside? In view of the fact the door has an airbag, I am hesitant to try to disassemble without knowing exactly how to do it. Thanks ahead of time for any assistance with this matter.
