My low-mileage '89 560SL runs perfectly except for this one problem -- when the car is warm and I shut it off, it does not want to restart. Repeated cranking (to the point that I am afraid I'll kill the battery)eventually gets it to start.

Any thoughts?

I appreciate any suggestions. Thanks in advance for your help.
