'98 E320 won't start - sometimes (6786 views) (29341 thread views) 
Message: This is a weird problem...

You can get in the car turn the key and it may or may not start.
First I thought it was the battery, which was still in warranty, so I replaced it with a new one. The problem didn't go away.

Interesting thing is, when it doesn't start you can wait a while and try again and it may start. It can be anywhere from 10 to 20 or 30 minutes. Starter seems to fine as I can hear it trying to start the car.

Any suggestions?
