Message:

I just replaced the exhaust hangers on a '91 300E with only 73,000 miles as I had only 3.5 inches of ground clearance below the exhaust. Now I have 4.6 inches and it still seems a bit too low.

Can other owners please post their ground clearance at the lowest point and any possible solution?

I have 205/60/15 tires. Would new Bilstein HD shocks raise it up a bit or is the problem in sagging spring?
