I purchased the 2006 CLK 500 about a month ago. The dealership recommended that I NOT purchase the phone package as it is about 3 years behind the technology. They recommended that I go to Best Buy or somewhere and have bluetooth integration installed. I went by a audio/visual speciality store (installed integrated DVD products in another vehicle) and they stated that it is about a $700. process. It does however NOT integrate into the prexisting telephone capabilities of the car and drilling would be required. I opted not. I see no point in paying for a system that does not utilize the microphone, stereo and steering wheel capabilities already in existance. I am holding off for a better solution and would love to hear from anyone who has found the answer!
