Message: I have a 1998 C230 and I sometimes hear what sounds like a dreadful cat mating call. Dealer said that I have a vacuum leak and one of the six actuators (possibly the Fresh Air) is the cause. The labor to remove dash is $1000, the labor to replace part is $295.00 Does anyone have any less expensive solutions other than buying a louder radio?
