| Message: | | I just fixed my 1999 start problem. See, as I told you, Mercedes-Benz did make mistakes. There is nothing wrong with my battery(even though in winter it's weaker), nothing wrong with my fuel pump, nothing wrong with my starter neither. The problem is, when your car is cranking in cold weather, it is heavy work, sticky metal etc, it sucks lots of juice off a battery, there isn't much power left for your fuel pump to give stable fuel pressure to your engine. I put a few medium size capacitors on my car and it solves my start problem, every time now I can start without worrying any where anytime.
BTW - My alternator did come up quickly as soon as my machine starts. If you need help send me an email cams18@Hotmail.com, if you're in WA state, you can bring your car to me for diagnostic, I have tool to check, I don't go by guessing like most professionals do. Don't listen to the car dealer telling you about a short on your battery. There is no such thing, if there was a short your car won't move because your spark plugs take power off your battery and your alternator. If there was a short, your alternator also will get shorted. So, they lied to excuse their incompetence.
