| Message: | .. accelerating and shifting from first to second gear. Does anybody experience the same subtle, short squeak? My MB tech insists it is the supercharger engaging and that there is nothing he can do about it. He said I should hear it also when reving the engine up above 3,000 rpm at stand still. He rode with me around the dealership and heard this slipping noise when the autobox shifted from first to second. We could not duplicate this noise by just reving up the engine in parking position. So I still think it has to do with the clutch of the auto box and not with the super charger engaging. Please let me know if you have likewise experience and how the issue was solved.
